Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Overview
LinkGlow is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the LinkGlow web application handles your data when you analyze a page, save an audit, or run monitoring.
TL;DR: We store the account and audit data you choose to save, and collect limited product-usage and performance measurements. We never sell data or run ads. The launch product does not send audit data to an AI model.
What we store when you analyze a URL
When you submit a URL for analysis, LinkGlow fetches the page server-side, renders it in a browser engine, classifies the links captured from the rendered page, and returns a sanitized snapshot for the glow view.
- The URL you submitted and the final URL after any redirects
- The page title, meta description, canonical, and robots tag
- The links captured from the rendered page and their classifications
- A sanitized version of the rendered HTML (the "snapshot") used to power the interactive glow view
- Page-level SEO data (heading structure, warnings)
We do not store the raw, un-sanitized HTML. Scripts, event handlers, and other unsafe elements are stripped server-side before the snapshot is persisted.
What we store when you sign in
- Your email address (for authentication)
- Your billing plan and Stripe customer ID (if you upgrade)
- Domain groups and focus selectors you create
- Audit results and snapshots you save to your account
- Audit folders and team membership
LinkGlow does not store readable passwords. Password credentials are stored as one-way hashes through Better Auth, alongside verification and password-reset records needed to operate account access.
What ordinary audits do not collect
- Your browsing history (we have none — there's no in-browser product anymore)
- Raw, un-sanitized page HTML from any analysis
- AI prompts or AI conversation history; ordinary audits do not invoke an AI model
- Any data from pages you don't explicitly analyze
AI processing
LinkGlow's launch product does not send audit data to an AI model. If that changes, we will update this policy and describe the data involved before making the feature available.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to run LinkGlow:
- Vercel: Hosting and deployment, Vercel Analytics for product-usage and funnel measurements, and Speed Insights for site-performance measurements
- Neon: PostgreSQL database hosting
- Resend: Account and monitoring email, plus optional LinkGlow product tips and offers. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe link and can be disabled in notification settings.
- Stripe: Billing
- Firecrawl: Page-content fetching for every URL-mode audit. The URL and page content are processed by Firecrawl as part of the scrape request.
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand product usage, funnel interactions, and site performance. We do not use advertising trackers.
Data sharing
We do not sell or trade your data, share it with third-party advertisers, or use advertising trackers. We share data with the service providers listed above only as needed to operate LinkGlow. LinkGlow may use your account and product activity to send its own onboarding guidance or plan offers when that notification preference is enabled; you can disable those messages in settings or unsubscribe from any such email.
Data retention
Saved audits and monitoring data remain associated with your account until you take a deletion action or request account deletion. Deleting an audit immediately removes it from product views and disables its public report, but the current implementation soft-deletes the underlying audit record. Account deletion revokes access, removes authentication records, and replaces identifying profile fields with a deleted-user placeholder; dependent product records may remain in the primary database under that anonymized identifier. Contact us if you need a broader erasure request reviewed. Service providers may retain backups or operational logs for their own limited retention periods.
Your rights
You can:
- Use the landing-page demo without creating an account
- Delete any audit from the dashboard at any time
- Request full account deletion by contacting us
- Export your data upon request
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated through the changelog and, for signed-in users, via email.
